In spring, 3rd Class and 2nd Class planted pumpkin seeds. We filled plastic pots with soil. We watered the seeds. We put the plastic pots in a tray. There were three trays. We put the trays on the windowsill. We checked them every day. After three weeks we saw them sprout.
At the summer camp, Frankie helped us plant the seedlings in the school vegetable garden. When we came back from our summer holidays, we saw vines in our vegetable garden. There are now green pumpkins growing. We can’t wait until they are ready to pick so we can carve out a face.
