On the 21st of May, a Tuesday, we had this year’s FEIS.
Margot Keegan, our drama teacher, Ann Kelly, the adjudicator and our principal Mr. Meehan were watching and listening to us do our poems. Everyone showed us their speech and drama skills and everyone did amazing.
The people who got the medals in junior and senior infants were 1st Max Gibson, 2nd Cara Sweeney and 3rd Austin DiPippo.
Ms. Rodger’s class was 1st Mollie Foley, 2nd Lucas Graham and 3rd were Neven Gaffney and Niko Rychlewski.
Ms.McDaid’s class was 1st Casey Hamlyn, 2nd Alana McFadden and 3rd were Dylan Mhlambeni and Mia Doherty.
In Ms. McLaughlin’s 4th and 5th Classes the winners were 1st Max Doherty, 2nd Charlie Rodgers and 3rd were Nadia Rychlewska and Likora Kotsut McDaid.
In Ms McChrystal’s fifth and sixth class Andrew Cullen was 1st, Eoghan Callaghan 2nd and Clodagh Kavanagh and Emily Friel were joint 3rd.
This year was Margo’s last year with the school and she announced her retirement. We surprised her with Kyron and Caitlin giving flowers and a card. Everyone gave her one big last goodbye.
We are so grateful for Margot’s help over the past 8 years. She is a brilliant speech and drama teacher and she helped us prepare our readings for our First Holy communions and Confirmations also. We were so lucky to have her. Thank you Margot.
