Past pupil Senan Kavavagh came to visit us with the FAI Schools Minor Boys National Cup he recently won with his secondary school, Deele college. The defeated Gaelcholáiste Mhuire of Cork in the final 4-1. Senan was joint captain of the team managed by Donegal GAA star Peadar Mogan.
Senan was very generous of his time. He spoke to the boys and girls about their successful journey in the competition. He talked to the children about all the training they did and the tough games they competed in.
The boys and girls asked Senan some really interesting questions. Hopefully, some of them will return to speak in years to come.
