The Board of Management

The board of management manages the school on behalf of our Patron and is accountable to the patron and the Minister.

The board of management at Scoil Phroinnseas Naofa endeavours to uphold the characteristic spirit (ethos) of our school and is accountable to the patron for so doing.

The Board acts in accordance with the Department of Education’s Governance Manual for Primary Schools 2023-2027.

The board operates on a four-year term. The current term is from 1st December 2023 to 30th November 2027.

The principal is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school, including providing guidance and direction to the teachers and other staff of the school and is accountable for that management.

Board members are volunteers give their time generously and we are very grateful for the valuable expertise they provide for our school.
