We recently elected two new members onto our Student Council. Clodagh and Kayden moved onto secondary school at the end of the last school year.
We voted in a boy and a girl from this year’s second class. All the boys and girls in second class got the opportunity to put their names forward for council. They created their election posters and put them up in the school. They wrote up their speeches and presented them to the class and Mr. Meehan. There were lots of great ideas and promises. After the voting, Dolores Gaffney and Jamie McGrath were elected as the new student council members.
