Making St. Brigid’s crosses

The boys and girls from Ms. Crawford’s 5th and 6th class had a great time making St. Brigid’s crosses. They brought rushes in from home and collected some more from our school environment.

They participated in a webinar that showed them how to make crosses. There were lots of the boys and girls who had been taught to make crosses by their parents and grandparents. They passed on these skills to the other children in the class.

All the boys and girls really enjoyed working together and learning from each other.
