How to Plant Strawberries in a Pot – 12 Easy Steps!
1. Get a plant pot.
2. Wet the pot inside
3. Sieve your soil until its soft.
4. Now put all of your soil in the pot.
5. Get your thumb and make a hole in the compost in the pot.
6. Wet the hole in the pot a little.
7. Plant strawberry plant and add a little more soil. Press down around it
8. Remember not to over water your plant.
9. Transfer to the ground after a few weeks.
Planting in the Ground
1. To plant dig a hole in the ground large enough to accommodate the roots and water well to soak the soil.
2. Trim the roots to 10 cm if necessary then spread them out in the hole.
3. Replace the soil.
4. Space the plants about 35 – 40 cm in a row.
5. You can also place a biodegradable mulch mat or re-usable strawberry collar around each plant to deter weeds and keep the fruit off the soil.
