Once again the lads starting strongly and this game was the tightest game and I mean the tightest game back and forth point to point after the first 3 quarters of the game Stromore went 7 points ahead of us by getting a point and 2 goals. Our heads dropped but we kept trying with Kayden McBride, Oisin Kavanagh and Donnacha Gallagher playing lovely passing and getting 2 goals to put us back in the game. At the last minute or so we were all playing lovely passing withy Donnacha Gallagher making super tackles. In the last attack we were about to score but the ref blew the whistle but with the loss the Magherabeg boys played wonderful. Soon after the match we got a 20 minute water break.
After the 20 min break we went into the third match against Scoil Cholmcile. We started the game pretty well scoring a couple of points. For the next 10 minutes Cholmcile were dominating then for the last 5 minutes we started to gain some points back with Kayden McBride getting a good amount of points but the game didn’t end well we lost. At the end of the day the boys had lots of fun.

On Tuesday 30th of May our 4th, 5th and 6th classes took part in a GAA friendly against Newtown. For the first 20 minutes it was a very tight game with both teams going neck and neck and you couldn’t know who was going to win, but in the end we won.
We’d like to thank Newtown for a great game as well. Everyone that took part for Magherabeg were, Luke, Oisin, Kayden, Jaden, Andrew G, Andrew C, Noah, Donnacha, John, Senan D, Senan S and Eoghan, Grace, Zainab, Emily, Summer, Caitlin, Clodagh, Kelsie, Ellie, Paige, Caoimhe, Kate, Abby and Ciara.
