The children from Ms. Crawford’s 5th and 6th class participated in a GAA blitz in Errigal College on Thursday 12th October 2023.
The Magherabeg team arrived in Errigal College and headed for the changing rooms to get ready. After we got changed, we went down to the pitch to warm up. Once we finished warming up, we stepped onto the pitch to play Glenswilly. Sadly, we lost 7-2. Clodagh and Oisín both scored one each for Magherabeg.
After a two-minute break and a few sweets from Mary, we were ready to play Scoil Mhuire. It was a very tense match, with both sides scoring many points, but the Magherabeg team edged them out in the end by a point. Noah, Oisín and Eoghan scored two and Clodagh scored one.
Right after a fifteen-minute break, the Magherabeg team were sadly defeated by Scoil Colm Cille 4-3. Donnacha scored two points and Oisín scored one. The Magherabeg team arrived back at school having had a great day out.
