On Saturday, May 18th, second class made their First Holy Communion at the Church of All Saints, Newtoncunningham at 11am. Fr. Martin Cunningham celebrated the mass. There were readings and songs. The teachers were Ms. Rodgers and Mrs. McDaid. At the end of the mass the children got cupcakes. They all got a beautiful class photograph. They all got treats at the end including cups of tea and a few biscuits. Then they all went home and celebrated with a party.
