On Tuesday 6th May, three fire members came in to teach 3rd Class about fire safety. Their names were Barry, Seán and Fawaz. They taught us how to stop, drop and roll and to test your smoke alarm every week. Barry is working with the fire service for fourteen years, Fawaz for five years and Sean for six months. The firemen gave us booklets. There are two firefighters in the booklet called Rua and Sadie. There are also stickers, a door hanger and a 3D fire truck that turns into a piggybank. We all received a certificate and we really enjoyed the firemen’s visit.
