The Boys Team
The day started with us going to the Letterkenny community centre. We went to the spot were all our items were left. Then we go ready. We all took shots on the keeper then we did passing drills. We went to the middle of the pitch where the refereee told us the rules.
We won Our first match 5-1. Then we took a rest then we did shots on the keeper then we played a match and we won 7-1. Then we got some food. Then we won or last match 7-2 we were very happy and that’s it. We had qualified for the county finals.
In the County finals we won 2 games and lost one. We didn’t qualify for the Ulster’s. We were very happy with our achiements.
The Girls had two teams entered. We started the day with a 7-1 win. On our second game we won 5-2. We made it to the finals but we lost 7-2 in the last game there was a penalty against us and they scored. The team was Clodagh, Kelsie, Ella Rose, Zanaib, Ella, Ellie, Paige, Caoimhe and Alana.
Team two started the day with a loss. The score was 4-0 to the other team then we got ready for the next match. Unfortunately the other teams were too strong for our young team but the girls really enjoyed the experience and had great fun. The team players was Kerry, Layla, Mia, Demi, Ùna.
