We are delighted to be involved in the Books4Home initiative, run by the Letterkenny Rotary Club in association with Kernan’s, a community-focused project that encourages a lifelong love of reading among primary school children by collecting and distributing quality children’s books.
The Rotary Club is a global network of business, professional and community leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to provide humanitarian service, promote peace and advance goodwill. Members meet regularly to network, collaborate on charitable projects and address vital community needs.
Through the generosity of the Letterkenny Rotary club and the Kernan group, children are given books to take home and keep, helping to build personal libraries and develop positive reading habits outside the classroom.
