Junior Infants – 4th Class Arena 7
Filled with excitement and anticipation, day one brought children from Junior Infants to 4th Class to Arena 7 where they had a fun-filled day alongside students from Drumoghill NS and Ray NS.
The children from Junior and Senior Infants played in the soft play area. Throughout the day, the children had the chance to mix with pupils from Drumoghill NS and Ray NS, encouraging new friendships and cooperation. Each group also enjoyed a visit to the café, where they had food together in a relaxed and social setting.
Children from 1st to 4th Class had a fantastic time showing off their skills at the bowling lanes, with mixed teams featuring students from each school. The excitement continued with a round of laser tag, followed by a variety of fun games – musical statues proved to be especially popular!
It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to make new friends and reconnect with some familiar faces from their preschool days. A great day was had by all!
5th & 6th Class – Xtreme Jump
Children from Magherabeg NS, Drumoghill NS and Ray NS came together in Xtreme Jump on Thursday 20th March for a meet and greet day. The children took part in ice breaker games and challenges and played on the trampolines. To end the day, we stopped off at Grianán of Aileach. The children really enjoyed the day out and it was a brilliant start to the Aspire Peaceplus project.
